Genetic Algorithm Based Parameter Tuning for Robust Control of Launch Vehicle in Atmospheric Flight

چکیده

A hybrid approach to the design of attitude control system for a launch vehicle (LV) in atmospheric flight phase is proposed this paper, where structured H ? controller tuned using genetic algorithm (GA). The synthesis relies on classical architecture thrust vector (TVC) that features proportional-derivative loops and bending filters. Once set requirements stability robustness typical industrial practice specified, carried out by parameterizing weighting functions, solving two-layer max-min global optimization problem tuning parameters. methodology applied model medium-size LV. novel analyzed off-nominal conditions taking into consideration parameter scattering wind disturbances. results show automated procedure allows devise time-scheduled controllers providing adequate performance, appears as viable effective solution order reduce burden recurrent activities validation conducted prior each launch.
